Yellena from Aroma Heaven.ca found us on the internet through keyword search. She contacted us about a week after her new Flash Website Design was published. As we do with all request for a website design quote, we contacted her immediately.

She was asking why her shopping cart was not functioning properly, if we could fix the problem and if we could optimize her website. As for the shopping cart it was not working well at all as the check boxes did not work and we had to leave the website and go to an ugly looking page to select items from a drop down menu that didn’t even work properly, before going on to PayPal.

I felt sorry to see and to hear that another website designer took another client for a ride. She was also unaware that search engines cannot index pages on a Flash Website, since there are no pages to index, and therefore optimization was out of the picture. Any Flash Website Designer would know that flash and optimization do not work well together.

Why can’t a Flash Website Designer be honest enough to prevent aggravation and disappointment to a client? Well for those dishonest designers, the answer is very simple. Let’s take their money and run.

On the phone, I took the time, listen and answered all her questions. Yellena was made aware that search engines are getting better at reading text in flash, and that it will take a few more years before a flash website can be optimized properly. She then decided to redesign her website.

As I could tell, she really liked the look and feel of her flash website design, therefore, I went on and made an effort to redesigned the new website keeping the same look and feel as close as possible to what she had. Read the website testimonial of another happy client.
